Barnstable’s only municipal golf course, the Fairgrounds is a
par 71, 18 hole championship course featuring broad fairways and
large chipping areas. Open year round (weather permitting), it
also offers putting greens, a driving range, and a restaurant.
This is one of the Cape’s top courses, but also one of the most
expensive, so have your wallet ready, with tee times starting at
$50 in the summer for non-residents. Tee times are advised two
days in advance, and only soft spikes are permitted.
Directions:
Take Route 6 to exit 5 (Route 149). Head south on Route 149;
course is 1.5 miles on the left.

Open
year-round, this course exhibits rolling, tree-lined terrain
with fast greens. HGC also offers three practice putting greens
and a fifty-five station driving range. It is centrally located,
near downtown Hyannis, exit 6, and Barnstable Municipal Airport.
Greens fees start at $50, and carts cost $16 per rider. Tee
times are first-come first-served, and all spikes are allowed.
Directions:
Take exit 6 (Route 132) off Route 6 and head toward Hyannis.
Golf Course is .25 mile on the left.

well-groomed, fast, and challenging. It is also centrally
located near downtown Hyannis, within walking distance of Main
Street and Route 28.
